Welcome to our website & apologies for our absence from these pages, needless to say it all started with ‘lockdown’ when we were forbidden flyers! Seems like it took a while to get airborne but we are well back and over the coming months we will be posting monthly news items showing club activities, events, maidens, crashes…yes it happens!
Some of the projects you will read about here from 2021 are still active, building large scale aircraft such as the Hercules C130, requires a lot of time, energy and patience, it’s a long term project. The Vampire is as finished as it will ever be, failed on it’s first attempt to take off as the nose wheel collapsed, so it went back for repairs and will maiden when the runway is cut good & tight.
Over the coming months we will publish some photos & videos of field activities, we will also publish technical articles for the purist in our ranks we will publish training articles for the newest amongst our pilots.
